Lilac Vegetal hasn't changed in years! Not too sweet...or oppressive...and not bearing any of today's "modern" offensive, heavy, industrial scents! It is fresh, invigorating and refreshing...and just like the stuff my father used...and the first after-shave I'd ever used - more than 65 years ago! And.............it's still reasonably priced! Love it! I NEVER tire of this. My only complaint: It's isn't easily found in local stores.

The first bottle of aftershave I ever owned was a gift from my dad. It was Lilac Vegetal. It used to come in a nearly identical glass bottle that I kept for years because I couldn't find a replacement. Thanks to Corrado Cutlery and Clubman online, I have my favorite aftershave back. Don't let the name confuse you. The smell is like being out in the field, flowers, grass, straw. Over the day it mellows into a smooth wildflower smell. Try the Clubman non aerosol deodorant as a nice compliment to it. You will smell good all day.

My father started me on Lilac Vegetal many years ago. I still love it. It obviously has a sentimental value to me, but I also really like it's simple,clean, fresh fragrance and how it makes my face feel after shaving. I hope they never stop making it.
